      <image:caption>Rebecca was raised in Ponca City within a family of musicians. She commenced her music education at the age of four by taking violin lessons. At the age of ten, she expanded her studies to include piano, and by fifteen, she began learning the organ. Throughout her high school years, she was an active participant in local orchestras, bands, and choirs. Rebecca pursued a music education major at Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri, where she continued her studies in violin, oboe, and organ. She subsequently obtained degrees in astrobiology and philosophy, with a specialization in legal philosophy. Upon her return to Oklahoma, she began offering her piano and organ services for private events and occasionally accompanied silent films, a practice she maintains to this day. Currently, Rebecca holds the positions of Treasurer and Communication Chair for the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. She is also a member of the Associate Board for the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. In addition, she is an active member of All Souls' Episcopal Church, where she participates in the handbell choir and engages in various ministries. Rebecca is involved with several local chapters of civic and philanthropic organizations and has served in leadership roles at the state level for various entities.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr. Benjamin Clark recently completed his DMA in summer 2025 at the University of Oklahoma, and he has also received MM degrees in Organ from Oklahoma City University and Collaborative Piano from the University of Northern Colorado.  His undergraduate education at Michigan State University included Bachelor’s degrees in both Piano and Chemistry.  Dr. Clark presently serves as the Organist and Director of Liturgy at St. Eugene Catholic Church in The Village, OK, and as a studio pianist in the voice department at OCU since 2016.  In recent years, Dr. Clark has performed at several prominent area churches, including degree recitals at First Presbyterian and Westminster Presbyterian, and featured guest appearances at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, St. Francis of Assisi RCC, and St. John’s Episcopal in Tulsa.  His areas of artistic interest include organ music of the late Romantic, the mid-20th century Organ Reform era in Germany, the Italian Renaissance, and works based on Gregorian Chant sources.  In his professional pursuits as an organist and choir director, Dr. Clark strives to contribute to the restoration of sacred beauty and tradition in the Catholic liturgy, and the inspiration of all the faithful to “mind the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth” (Colossians 3:2, DRB).</image:caption>

      <image:caption>David Anderson, a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, has called Oklahoma home since 2013. His musical education includes dual undergraduate degrees in sacred music and organ performance from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, a Master of Music in organ performance from the University of Oklahoma, and a Doctor of Musical Arts in organ performance, also from OU. David's doctoral research explored the pioneering work of synagogue organist and composer Isadore Freed, focusing on Freed's significant contributions to scholarship on the Jewish modal system. His major teachers include John Ferguson, Catherine Rodland, John Schwandt, and Damin Spritzer (organ), and Anton Armstrong, Christopher Aspaas, and Richard Zielinski (conducting). David enjoys performing in solo appearances and in ensemble, and has performed across the United States. His recordings have appeared on the syndicated radio program Pipedreams. Currently, David serves as vice-president of Chamber Music in Oklahoma, a nonprofit organization currently in its sixty-sixth year dedicated to bringing the best small ensembles in the world to Oklahoma City.  As Director of Music and organist at Christ the King Church in Nichols Hills, David oversees the liturgical life of the parish. In addition to planning the Sunday liturgies, he directs the semi-professional parish choir and the parish schola, oversees the handbell choir, and collaborates with the Christ the King School choir. He enjoys researching and writing about elements of the liturgy for the edification of the parish. When not at Christ the King or diligently practicing, David spends time with his wife, Dr. Leah Anderson, and son James, who at 9 months of age is starting to show promise as a dramatic baritone.</image:caption>

Steven is the SVP/General Counsel for Tinker Federal Credit Union as well as the organist/Minister of Music at The First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City.   He is a member of the board of directors for BrightMusic Society of Oklahoma, the immediate past chair and current member of the Financial Institutions and Commercial Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association, and current chair of the Oklahoma Governmental Affairs Subcommittee-Cornerstone Credit Union League.  Steven and his wife, Christi, are residents of Oklahoma City and have two sons, Brycen, who currently resides in Corvallis, Oregon, and Jarret, who currently resides in Oklahoma City.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Christopher Evatt has been Director of Parish Music and Organist at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Edmond, OK since 2021. In addition to playing for four weekly services, Dr. Evatt directs Holy Trinity's choral and handbell ensembles and assists with liturgical planning. In 2023, he oversaw the installation of a new 4-manual Walker organ, which he has used for various performances including a Reformation Day chorale recital and a Holy Week presentation of Liszt's Via Crucis. In the summer of 2024, Dr. Evatt was invited to present on improvisation, hymn playing, and organ repertoire at the LCMS Institute on Liturgy, Preaching, and Church Music in Nebraska and the Caedmon Church Music Conference in Dallas. An avid collaborator, he is a staff pianist and adjunct instructor at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, having previously worked at Keene State College and the Longy School of Music, and has played with groups such as the Zenith Ensemble and Tactus. He has degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Texas at Austin, and studied organ with John Ferguson, Judith Hancock, and Malcolm Matthews.</image:caption>

In 2021 he completed his Doctor of Musical Arts in organ performance at the University of Oklahoma with his dissertation “An Analysis of Three Recital Pieces by William Lloyd Webber.”  He also holds a MM in Organ Performance (University of Oklahoma, 2014), a MM in Composition (University of Texas – Austin, 2012), and a BM in Organ Performance and Composition (Stetson University, DeLand, Florida, 2009).  He has studied organ with John Schwandt, Gerre &amp; Judith Hancock, and Boyd Jones.  He has studied composition with Marvin Lamb, Yevgeniy Sharlat, Dan Welcher, Donald Grantham, Sydney Hodkinson, and Manuel de Murga.       <image:caption>John L. Edwards is the Organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City, where he has served since May 1, 1991. In addition to being an organist, John specializes in playing flutes of all types.  He has the distinction of having played eight different flute and keyboard instruments with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. His performances throughout the Southwest, California, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, and England, have won the respect of his peers and the acclaim of local critics, whether appearing on the concert stage with his flute, or at the organ console in churches and recital halls.  John performs regularly on the Kemp Concert Series hosted by First Presbyterian Church and plays with Tactus a professional Chamber Orchestra &amp; Vocal Ensemble, and with the Oklahoma Baroque Orchestra, and has played Principal Flute under the baton of Irv Wagner's Concert Band.  In April 2019, Mr. Edwards was a solo flutist in the Oklahoma premiere of Ralph Vaughan Williams: Epithalamion for Chorus, Baritone, Flute, and Strings, performed by the University of Central Oklahoma and the Edmond Community Chorale.  He was featured with the Oklahoma Baroque Orchestra playing the Mozart Flute Concerto in D on Baroque flute, April 2024.  John will present The Traverso a lecture/recital at the National Flute Association 2024 Convention In San Antonio, Texas on August 3rd, and in March of 2025 Mr. Edwards will premier a work for piccolo and piano by Amanda Harberg, commissioned by the Oklahoma Flute Society honoring the memory of Feodora Steward, playing her 1953 Powell piccolo. John received his Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from Oklahoma City University where he also did his post-graduate work and taught flute in the Preparatory Department for five years.  While at OCU he appeared as a featured soloist with the majority of the university’s ensembles.  His flute instructors have included Jean-Louis Kashy, Dr. Eleanor Duncan Armstrong, and Barbara Davis.  John has had the privilege to participate in the flute master classes of James Galway, Jean-Pierre Rampal, and baroque flutist Stephen Preston. He has recorded professionally with pianist Rondal J. Wallace, and along with Mr. Wallace is a co-founding member of the instrumental ensemble Oklahoma City RONDEAU. John is a member of the National Flute Association, the Oklahoma Flute Society, and a Colleague of the American Guild of Organists.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Concerts - A Few of My Favorites - JOHN L. EDWARDS, piccolo and organ</image:title>
      <image:caption>John L. Edwards is the Organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City, where he has served since May 1, 1991. In addition to being an organist, John specializes in playing all types of flutes.  He has the distinction of having performed on eight different flute or keyboard instruments with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.  He performs regularly with the Kemp Concert Series hosted by First Presbyterian Church.  Mr. Edwards also performs with Tactus, the Oklahoma Baroque Orchestra and is the Principal Flutist with the Irv Wagner Concert Band.   John has been an active accompanist, accompanying several choirs at Oklahoma City University, Canterbury Voices and the Edmond Community Chorale, among others. Mr. Edwards received his Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma City University where he also did post-graduate work.  His organ instructors have included James Curtis “Curt” Chambers, Dr. Wilma Jensen and Dr. Antone Godding.  His flute instructors were Jean-Louis Kashy, Dr. Eleanor Duncan Armstrong and Barbara Davis.  John has had the privilege to participate in the flute master classes of James Galway, Jean-Pierre Rampal and with baroque flutist Stephen Preston, and has participated in organ master classes with Marilyn Mason, Clyde Holloway and Russell P. Saunders.  He has recorded professionally with pianist Rondal J. Wallace and is a co-founding member of the instrumental ensemble Oklahoma City RONDEAU.  Mr. Edwards holds the Colleague (CAGO) Certificate from the American Guild of Organists and is a member of the National Flute Association and the Oklahoma Flute Society. The piccolo used in todays performance, formerly owned by long-time Oklahoma City Philharmonic player, Feodora Steward, was specifically hand-made for her by the Boston flute maker, Verne Q. Powell in 1953.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>John Allen has been a member of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic for 15 years, spending much of that time as Principal Trombonist. In 2018, John moved to the Bass Trombone chair so that he could pursue the instrument that is his first love. Concurrent to his tenure in the orchestra, he taught trombone and led the Jazz Ensemble at Oklahoma City University. John retired from OCU at the end of 2021, having just been named General Manager of the Philharmonic. Before moving to Oklahoma, Mr. Allen spent 18 years as an active recitalist, chamber musician, and freelance player in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  John Allen and John Edwards have collaborated many times, and Mr. Allen is greatly honored to be invited to participate in this program.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Pianist Cynthia Cortright has earned a fine reputation as a soloist, collaborative artist and teacher. Her academic degrees include a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Indiana University. In 1994, at the invitation of the U.S. State Department, Cortright served as Artistic Ambassador in an extended tour to Israel, Jordan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Syria with soprano Julie McCoy. Dr. Cortright has a well-established private piano studio in Oklahoma City, and serves as Organist/Choir Director at St. John's Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Martin King is a retired Oklahoma band director.  He taught in the Putnam City Public Schools for fourteen years and at Carl Albert for sixteen years.  During that time he was selected as the Oklahoma Bandmaster of the Year in 2000 and chosen for the Oklahoma Bandmaster’s Hall of Fame in 2013. Over the last 45 years, Mr. King has also taught as an adjunct woodwind instructor at UCO, OCU, Oklahoma Christian, and OU.  He has also taught woodwind techniques at OCU and UCO. For the past 49 years, Martin has played for the Lyric Theatre and most all of the musicals that have toured in OKC.  He also maintains a private lesson studio of students from Edmond, Midwest City, and Choctaw.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Rondal J. Wallace has taught music at both the high school and collegiate level. Rondal has been a church musician in the Oklahoma City area for over fifty years. He is currently on the staff of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church as their organist.  Mr. Wallace holds the degrees of Bachelor of Music and Masters of Music Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association. He is a professional accompanist in the Oklahoma City area. He has played for numerous concerts and recitals throughout the United States and Europe. Rondal has performed extensively and recorded professionally with flutist, John L. Edwards.  Mr. Wallace and Mr. Edwards are co-founders of the instrumental ensemble Oklahoma City RONDEAU. Mr. Wallace is a member of the following professional musical organizations: ACDA, OCDA, OMEA, and he is nationally certified with MTNA.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Concerts - Vienna Boys Choir - The Vienna Boys Choir can trace its history as far back as the 13th century but it was formally established at Vienna's Imperial Chapel in 1498 by Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I.</image:title>

The modern Vienna Boys Choir represents quite a departure from the composition of the original medieval choir of six boys. Today's Vienna Boys Choir is comprised of talented young singers from all over the world who are admitted by audition. The choir visiting the U.S. has included boys hailing from Austria, Cambodia, China, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, the Philippines and the U.S.</image:caption>
